Day of the Doctor: Doctor Who

Good afternoon my nerds! I hope you had a magnificent Monday! No Monday is really that that great, but hey we can get through it, everything will work out I promise! So right now I'm avoiding the piles of packets I have to study for finals, yay! Well, what's the best way to procrastinate though? That's right, Netflix for the win.

Knock knock
"Who's there?"
Doctor.
"Doctor Who?"
Correct!

Ahhh okay enough of my corny jokes, how about we talk about some Doctor Who now? Actually, it was the first real nerdy show I watched, and I loved it every step of the way.
Doctor Who came out in 1963 so it has some history, so if you search it on Netflix you will come up with two results- Classic Doctor Who from 1963 and Doctor Who from 2005. For all of those who have not seen any Doctor Who, I recommend starting with the newer version and then if you want to watch more go to the Classic Doctor Who. However I should explain this, the newer version is just a continuation of the older version, more or less. Because of this, Classic Doctor Who has doctors one through eight while the newer version has doctors nine through eleven (almost twelve).
But what is the catch with this weird doctor show aired by BBC? Well, oh so many amazing things. The Doctor is an alien but don't worry he is the good kind of alien, he has two hearts which means he is twice as loving! A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, hahaha, the Doctor's home planet was destroyed and he is the only one still alive. The Doctor spends his days saving Earth from all things bad and evil. Not only does he do this because he cares, but the Doctor also does this because it is an exciting adventure, of course! He goes on these adventures in a blue police box known as the TARDIS, or Time and Relative Dimension iSpace as seen by the picture below.
In short, like British accents? Doctor Who. Enjoy science fiction? Doctor Who. Are you a grade-A procrastinator? Watch Doctor Who. Fan of some adventure? Doctor Who. Maybe just a little bit of romance in your adventurous television shows? Doctor Who.

~Try it out! It's great!
